Who am I?
I want to make art. I want to teach art. I want to be art.
– Savanna Schara
Savanna Schara of Rapid City, South Dakota developed her artistic identity in 2017 with Crazy Pants Creative. Savanna is a multimedia artist who works in graphic design, photography, acrylic art, fluid painting, fashion design, and mixed media.

The unexpected element you will see throughout Crazy Pants work is garbage...yes garbage...and it is cooler than it sounds. She recycles items that are no longer functional into art to raise awareness about the human impact.

Striving to create something authentic and lasting, she draws inspiration from the Black Hills, pollution, music, the stars, imperfections, and all types of art. She allows viewers to see beyond the surface. Her passion resonates like a supernova of heart, soul, and a little chaos.

With an eclectic list of achievements, her favorites include an electrical box in downtown Rapid City, SD featuring her artwork, her collection of sketchbooks at the Brooklyn Art Library, and on BuzzFeed’s article ‘25 Brilliant Ways People Have Been Channeling Their Creativity in 2020’ where Adobe Creative Cloud called her an eco-conscious artist.
