The question isn’t who is going to let me; it’s who is going to stop me. – Ayn Rand
How did Crazy Pants come to be? At work my breaks consist of Youtube videos and creative exercises. My coworkers and I are currently making our way through, Caffeine for the Creative Mind: 250 Exercises to Wake Up the Brain.

A few months ago the exercise was to create an ad for yourself. The activity was to make an ad for your job or a service you could offer; I chose to make an ad for the way I want to live my life. Do what you do, wear what you wear, be who you are; was the motto I had chosen.

The idea has since transformed into a more creative concept. It shifted from my love of crazy pants and tutus, to letting my crazy pants symbolize my creativity and my desire to express myself through my art. I use my creativity as a graphic designer by day, artist by night, and photographer on the weekend.

Design has played a big role in who I have become. The best compliments I have even gotten have been from my design work. From posters stolen off dorm bulletins to being told “this job is perfect for you” and the awe of how I explain design. Design is where I get to be the “smart one.”
People are afraid of good design. – Kaleigh Ford

Art is my newest creative endeavor. This is where this blog comes in, I want to try different styles, genres and techniques. I am still trying to find my style. I am going to try everything until I figure it out.
To practice any art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow. So do it. – Kurt Vonnegut

Photography comes with the design territory, I’m no where near a professional, but I know my way around my Nikon D3100. I take pictures for my design, when I need it. It’s about capturing the moments and people that have molded who I am.
Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst. – Henri Cartier-Bresson
