I can’t decide what kind of pants to put on today: artsy or crazy.
I live in leggings, the crazier the better. Out of all the leggings I have ever had, I have one all time favorite. They have a black, white, and gray delicate Aztec pattern with a bright, tropical, floral overlay. I really connect to these leggings because I see things in layers. These leggings have the best layers and are the inspiration for my fireplace art.

The base black, white, and grey layer is how I see life, it is the balance between working and resting. This shows how work and rest interfere with each other. It’s messy and not exactly pretty, but it is a good base.
The Aztec layer is the way I think, structured, symmetrical and even. Adding this layer gives a little flare to the piece. These are the thoughts and ideas that break up the everyday. Its not perfect, but it adds interest and dimension to the repetition.
The bright floral overlay is how I see creativity, unexpected, it breaks up the ordinary, and it can take something simple and make it amazing. This is the icing on the cake, this is where work, rest, and ideas meet.

Everything connects to each other and in turn we can connect with it. When you feel a connection whether is it to something or someone, turn it into art.
