Lesson: Get rid of all expectations. .

When I started this pour challenge I had this vision of a simple clean finished piece. I was envisioning a black canvas with one big, beautiful, colorful swirl. The second I started painting that expectation went out the window.

By mixing the colors in one cup, there is always a chance of uneven color mixing. The white color overtook the whole canvas. To bring out the colors underneath I used a palette knife to scrape the top layer off. After that I added individual colors until it had the defined colors I wanted.
