Perhaps this is this moment for which you have been created. -Esther 4:14

I design logos for a living, so when it was time to design my own, my head almost exploded!
How do I express all my hobbies in one logo? It started with a name, see post “Crazy Pants? What are those?” for how the name came to be. From there is was all just a puzzle; to turn all these elements into a logo. This logo has a lot of elements, more than I would normally include in a design. On the other hand, I had to because this concept has a lot of elements.
Element 1: The girl or the negative space of a girl in a tutu. She is me, she wears a sparkly tutu and has a camera attached to her face.
Element 2: The shape of a paint stroke represents creativity. It’s bold at first and slowly fades out. Your creativity has a core where the ideas are the strongest and resonate from that core. The creativity fades out becoming good vibes in the world.
Element 3: The colors just make me happy. The way the orange, pink, and purple flow and blend together; they are just easy to look at.
Element 4: The hobbies…photography, sewing, designing, and painting. All the things that bring out the fire in my soul. They captivate my attention, generate the most genuine ideas, and make me the creative spirit God has intended me to be.

Element 5: The fonts! Champagne & Limousines, because I love the name but also because it’s a clean font with an air of style and fun. The second font Vayentha Script is a fun modern script with a handwritten look that blends well with the rest of the logo. I really like the idea of mixing a very structured, sharp font with a more natural, free flowing font.
The details are what make the logo, which makes the brand, and leaves an impression. Logo design can be tricky, I am not sure if I could have explained this logo to someone and have gotten the same results. Just remember your logo is you, make sure it’s what you want.
